Economic Growth Corporation (GROWTH) is a community-based 501(c)3 non-profit development organization. With a national footprint, GROWTH is a market-driven mixed-use housing developer nationally known for getting the "tough ones done." As the developer of the Wilson Lofts, GROWTH is an expert at layering transactions with complex sources of funding. The Wilson Lofts alone has 11 sources of financing from large federal sources like New Market Tax Credits to small and meaningful local sources like the Downtown Clinton Alliance and Clinton County Development Association that make up the $15.3 million catalytic investment that is occurring in downtown Clinton, Iowa.

​As the developer of Wilson Lofts, GROWTH is seeking sponsorship support to help cover the gap caused by below-market rents to support entrepreneurs opening within the Wilson Lofts ground floor business incubators, Makers on 5th and Clinton Culinary.

Clinton Culinary and Makers on 5th business incubators within the Wilson Lofts are dedicated toward creating the ideal environment to support startups, small business, and entrepreneurs looking to grow in Clinton and Clinton County, Iowa.
We believe in community involvement that strengthens relationships between local businesses and entrepreneurs looking to open in Makers on 5th and Clinton Culinary.

Clinton County Development Association granted $38,856 to the Gateway Area Foundation for the Wilson Lofts development in downtown Clinton. The Gateway Area Foundation served as the applicant for Wilson Lofts, working closely with Economic Growth Corporation, developers of the Wilson Lofts. “It is of our belief that the advancement of community and economic development, in downtown Clinton, relies, in large measure on the Wilson Building’s redevelopment,” said Rich Phelan, Corporate Secretary of the Gateway Area Foundation (GAF).

100% of sponsorship dollars is invested into the Clinton Culinary and Makers on 5th business incubators.
